Pitt County’s Vidant Medical Center is one of four academic medical centers in North Carolina and the flagship hospital for Eastern North Carolina.
Active Service League members contribute time to the local Pitt County Chapter of the American Red Cross blood drives.

The emotional and social support of other survivors can be as important as getting the proper medical care. Hope Lodge offers lodging at no cost for cancer patients who live beyond a 40-mile radius of Vidant Medical Center.
The Service League Interfaith Chapel serves staff, patients, visitors and the community through a facility adjoining the Vidant Medical Center.
The Ronald McDonald House of Eastern North Carolina provides a temporary home–away-from-home for families of seriously ill or injured children receiving treatment from area medical facilities in Pitt County.
The Service League of Greenville is committed to helping the newborns in our community have a warm and welcoming start.
