Spring is the time for welcoming new. So what better time for the Service League of Greenville to reach out to other service minded women in our community by hosting our first ever Meet & Greet. In a wonderfully attended, invitation only event at the Firefly Wine Shop, we shared great food and fellowship, awareness about the Service League, our commitment to our community, and the start of our biggest ever pledge — $2 million for a healing garden in the soon (2018) to be completed Cancer Center at Vidant Medical Center.
Our thanks to all our wonderful guests for making this delightful evening a memorable first. It is our hope that this will be the start of something new for them too!
We also thank all the Service League members who contributed time, talent, and food to the success of this event. And a special thanks to Susan Thornton, an organizer extraordinaire — you rock!
