Service League of Greenville volunteers were hard at work in the months of — December & January.

Here are just some of the ways our members shared their Service League time and talent with their community:

Service League Gift Shops & Snack Carts — 693 hours
Charity Ball Fundraiser — 149 hours
American Red Cross Blood Drives — 17 hours
Vidant Medical Center Activities — 42 hours
Ronald McDonald House — 76 hours
Service League of Greenville Inpatient Hospice — 101 hours
McConnell-Raab Hope Lodge — 117 hours
Layettes Program — 23 hours
Other Projects — 761 hours
Meetings — 626 hours

Total Hours — 2605!!

Service League In The News: Hospice Volunteering & Provisional Members

During November’s National Home Care and Hospice month celebrations, Dr. Tae Lee, director of Vidant Home, Health, Hospice and Palliative Care, and Theresa Warren, Service League member and hospice volunteer, were interviewed on WITN about the importance of Home Care and Hospice and the wonderful rewards of volunteering with hospice — as many of our Service League volunteers know first hand!
